"Democracy in action... The Civic Association is the level where people function in Government."

ABOUT US

The Dyker Heights Civic Association was established in 1928 and is one of the oldest civic organizations in Brooklyn.  Our goal is to serve as the voice of the Dyker Heights community and provide a platform to address the concerns of the residents of Dyker Heights. Our membership is open to residents of Dyker Heights as well as anyone with an interest in the community including local business owners and those who work in the community.  The officers and board of governors of the Dyker Heights Civic Association are all volunteers. We work closely with our local merchants organizations, elected officials, community board, police precinct, as well as other civic and community based organizations.  The general membership meets monthly on the second Tuesday of each month except for January, February, July and August.  These monthly meetings provide valuable information regarding the community and feature guest speakers on topics of concern. We also sponsor and co-sponsor community events and support charitable and worthy causes.
